My interview with Angela Cappetta.

Hey everyone, in today’s post, you will find the Substack Live interview I did with Angela Cappetta this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun to talk to Angela about different aspects of her photography, books, and other relevant topics to the medium, which I think will be informative for anyone interested in what goes into being a working photographer.

Angela is a straight shooter with a wealth of applicable knowledge, and I encourage you to check out her website and Substack, where you can find her portfolios, posts on different topics from writing a successful artist statement to painting your walls with magnetic paint (so cool), amongst many other practical subjects for growing artists.

L'Artiere will be publishing her second book, We are Gathered Here, later this year, with its premiere at Paris Photo 2026. However, you can still find copies of her first book, Glendalis, on the L’atiere website (among many other beautiful books).
