My interview with George Weld.
Hello everyone! I recently completed a workshop through the Penumbra Foundationwith writer and photographer George Weld on text and images in photobook projects, so I figured I would take the opportunity to talk with George and share some of his thoughts on this practice, for others to take from it what they will.
Like all my interviews, this is more of a conversation, and my goal is simple: to share these talks with the mindset that if I have these questions, others do as well and will benefit from listening to the guests’ answers.
George is a multifaceted artist who is not only a phenomenal writer but a wonderful photographer too, and I highly encourage all of you to spend some time with his website and newsletter to get a better idea of his personal work, as well as the collaborations he’s done with photographers like Adrianna Ault and Raymond Meeks.
Thank you for taking the time to check out this interview, and feel free to share your thoughts below, or share this post with a friend who you think will enjoy our little meander into the world of image and text pairings.
